The Jets have added 2 more interviews to their GM search to hit their total of 15 interviews.
The first interview was with Jon-Eric Sullivan, VP of Player Personnel with the Green Bay Packers. Sullivan spent all his 21 years in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers starting as a scout in the Southeast and Central Plains. Then moving on to becoming the of college scouting for 2 years before being hired as co-director of player personnel. Finally 2022 Sullivan was hired as VP of Player Personnel and he still holds the job today.
The second interview the Jets completed was with Bills assistant GM Brian Gaine. Gaine started his time working in the NFL front office with the Jets as a scout from 1999-2004, after that he worked for the Cowboys as an assistant of pro scouting before he worked his way up to being the assistant GM of the Dolphins from 2012-2013. After that job, he worked for the Texans and the Bills before becoming the Texans GM.
As GM of the Texans, Gaine improved the team from a 4-12 season to an 11-5 year. After getting fired he was hired as the Senior Personnel Advisor where he served from 2019 to 2021 and then he was promoted to becoming the assistant GM of the Bills where he still serves today.
The Jets are now up to 15 total interviews for the GM vacancy.
